Chi Omega Marketing Director

Overview

Chi Omega Marketing Director

As Marketing Director for Chi Omega, I was responsible for overseeing and executing the creation of digital content, managing social media platforms, and leading the development of campaigns that aligned with the sorority’s values and goals. I collaborated closely with the executive team and chapter members to represent the brand, cultivate its image, and direct campaigns from concept to execution. I learned the importance of strategic communication, from crafting compelling messaging to coordinating visual content, all while ensuring consistency across social media platforms. This role taught me how to balance creativity with practical goals, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and refine my ability to work under deadlines. Leading campaigns and engaging with the chapter allowed me to hone my skills in teamwork, adaptability, and leadership, which have been deeply impactful for my development as a Public Relations student and professional! It has been so much fun! We ended this role in December 2025.

Graphics

As Marketing Director, I created a variety of graphics ranging from event promotions to chapter highlights, each designed to visually reflect Chi Omegaโ€™s values and aesthetic. People engage with and share graphics because theyโ€™re visually appealing, easy to understand, and help foster a sense of community and pride. Through consistent visual branding, I helped cultivate an image that felt authentic, unified, and reflective of our chapterโ€™s personality. Every post served a purposeโ€”not just to inform, but to reinforce our presence and voice across platforms.

As Marketing Director, my goal has always been to represent our chapter authentically, offering a true glimpse into the feel of Chi Omega and what we stand for. By curating content that highlights our values, community, and the vibrant atmosphere of Auburn, Iโ€™ve worked to ensure that our Instagram feed reflects the diverse personalities and experiences within our chapter. This approach has allowed us to stay consistent with our brand while connecting more deeply with our audience, giving them a genuine sense of who we are.

Our feed maintains a warm, consistent aesthetic that reflects the heart of our chapter, creating a cohesive visual experience that is both inviting and authentic.

By enforcing the brandโ€™s identity, I ensured each post aligned with our values while incorporating fresh ideas to keep the feed engaging and authentic.

Profile Photo

The design choices behind the profile photo were carefully curated to blend Chi Omegaโ€™s rich history with a modern, playful twist. The skull, a timeless and traditional Chi Omega symbol, represents our deep-rooted legacy and connection to the sorority’s history. By incorporating our signature red, white, and yellow colors, we maintained a sense of pride and tradition while adding a vibrant, eye-catching feel. The goal was to create a profile picture that balanced both the playful energy of our chapter and the longstanding values we uphold, reflecting both our strong heritage and the fun, dynamic atmosphere we bring to the present. This design ultimately captures the essence of Chi Omega in a way that feels fresh yet rooted in tradition.

Highlight Design

For our Instagram highlights, we wanted to create a clean, cohesive look that would enhance the first impression of our feed. By using consistent icons and colors aligned with Chi Omegaโ€™s brand, we ensured the highlights were visually appealing while making key information easy to navigate.

Recruitment

As Marketing Director, I applied my skills to design and launch a comprehensive year-long digital campaign for Auburn Panhellenic recruitment. I led the creation of slogans, graphics, videos, photography, and social media strategy that aligned our brand with potential new members and drove strong engagement. The campaign achieved both local and national success, generating 3.7M profile visits, a top post with 407K views, and over 40K likes and 23K comments, while earning recognition from organizations locally and nationwide.

Through authentic storytelling, the campaign showcases the relationships and values that define our chapter for potential members.

I ensured our recruitment content consistently aligned with our chapterโ€™s identity while incorporating creative elements to keep it authentic and engaging.

Recruitment Graphics

As part of recruitment, I created a variety of graphics, photos, recaps, and videos for stories, each designed to visually reflect our chapterโ€™s values and brand. These stories provided real-time updates and an authentic behind-the-scenes look at who we are, highlighting everything from the people prospective members met to theme reveals and other key moments. Through consistent visual branding, I helped convey a unified and genuine chapter experience, ensuring every story engaged our audience while offering an authentic glimpse into our community. Here are some examples!

Information Packet

I created an information packet for parents of daughters going through recruitment with the goal of appealing to their concerns and providing accurate, encouraging information. Understanding that this audience values clarity and reassurance, I focused on presenting essential details in a warm, welcoming tone while ensuring the packet was easy to navigate. By using a clean design and clear language, I aimed to make a lasting first impression, offering parents confidence in the recruitment process and showing our commitment to both their daughters’ experience and well-being.
